Not quite! Think of a Podcast as the opposite of spam. You can receive a complete, narrated video tour, with dozens of photographs - whenever YOU want. You subscribe (for free, of course!) and as new listings come on the market, your subscription is automatically 'updated'. You can then see the new episodes available, a brief description of the property, and then YOU choose whether or not to view that episode. It's that simple! And you can unsubscribe anytime!
- Do I need a Video iPod?
No, not at all! You can view the tours right on your PC or Mac! But if you do have a Video iPod, it will automatically sync next time you connect your iPod - and the new tours will be available to view anywhere! Show it to your family, friends - or just watch it at the gym on the treadmill!
- Do I need any special software?
Not really. You'll need QuickTime, which most computers already have installed. And a broadband connection is helpful, but not necessary.
- How do I subscribe?
The easiest way is through the Apple iTunes Store. Every time you open iTunes, it will automatically update any new properties in the background. Just click on the "GET" button to download a particular video.

How many people really own iPods, isn't this just a fad?
Currently there are 40 million Americans who own an MP3 device. Apple has sold millions of iPods in the last few years. That is quite a large audience of potential home buyers looking for new ways to view homes. Forbes reports that Apple computer could sell 43 million iPods in 2006. They sold 31 million iPod units in calendar 2005 - 16 million units just over this past Christmas (2005). Since the release of the first podcast in August 2004, about 40% of users have downloaded or listened to a podcast.
